PHILOSOPHY OF THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION
Some of the philosophical slogans of the Vision Theological Seminary are “Education starts from the womb and
ends at the tomb” and “The day a Christian worker ceases his study he retires from his ministry.” Vision Theological
Seminary is committed to educate both educated and illiterate Christian workers without age barrier for total
development of equipping men and women to effectively witness and serve Jesus Christ in the world today. VTS
offers contextual and creative programs. We enable Pastors in churches and teachers in Theological institutions to
make positive Christian responses to contemporary challenges, opportunities and problems in their pastoral and
teaching ministries.
We are living in an age of sophisticated wisdom in which the almighty God seeks well-dedicated and well trained
aspirants to work mightily among the wisdom seeking folk, therefore theological education has paramount importance
in the Christian ministerial field today. We are really enthusiastic and exceedingly glad in training up qualified and
praise worthy theologians, leaders, pastors, teachers and evangelists. Our teaching standard is inter-denominationally
witnessed and appreciated by leading servants of God, since it helps and makes radical changes in all agencies of the
life and ministry of the servants of God.
AFFLIATION AND ACCREDITATION
Our M.Div and B.Th courses are Accredited by Asia Theological Association. M.Th program is going on; its ATA accreditation process is also going on. All the ATA courses are offered in English only. We also offer non-ATA courses such as B.C.S, B.D., M.A (theology) and STM courses in Tamil.
